£36,000 + Quarterly Bonus | Office-Based
About the Role:
Transition from operational import/export work into international trade consultancy. Work with diverse UK manufacturing and trading clients on customs compliance, import/export procedures, market development, and logistics strategy.
This role combines client advisory work with research, documentation, and back-office support. You’ll be part of a small technical team where everyone contributes to operations and client delivery.
Responsibilities
* Support trade compliance reviews for UK manufacturers and exporters
* Advise on import/export procedures and customs regulations
* Conduct research on tariff codes, regulations, and compliance requirements
* Prepare client reports and documentation
* Build client relationships under supervision
* Occasional UK travel with colleagues to client sites
Qualifications
* 3+ years as import/export coordinator OR customs/freight operations
* Working knowledge of UK customs procedures and systems
* Understanding of trade documentation, Incoterms, or logistics
* Strong written communication and analytical skills
* Full UK driving licence
* Currently working in the UK with right to work - no sponsorship available
