Senior Product Manager, 6-12 Month Contract Excellent Day Rate Hampshire VR/10552 This is a new, exciting contract where you will be tasked with translating consumer insights into an innovative product roadmap from conception to launch. This role ensures all new products deliver genuine consumer value, meet time and cost targets, and act as a key driver for the brand's commercial growth strategy. This is initially a 6-12 month contract, but there may be scope for it to become permanent as time goes on Your role will involve: * Cultivating a consumer-first focus by extracting and implementing meaningful insights to inform relevant innovations that identify unmet consumer needs and solve real-world problems * Leading the voice of the consumer; driving and communicating the product vision & mission from concept to launch, throughout the entire NPD process * Creating, leading and implementing 5-year product roadmaps * Taking full ownership and accountability for respective categories in the portfolio, leveraging proven experience in full lifecycle product management * Continuously analysing and interpreting the competitive landscape and market dynamics to identify emerging trends, gaps, and opportunities for growth * Delivering highly effective, story-led presentations to both internal leadership and external stakeholders * Leading category/product positioning and claims development to clearly define superiority over competitors * Fuelling category innovation through a deep curiosity for the consumer, continuously questioning and investigating their journey, barriers to purchase, and evolving macro trends You will be the ideal candidate due to your: * Qualified to degree level in business related degree/Professional Marketing Qualification with relevant product development experience * Proven experience in full lifecycle product management from ideation to end-of-life within a consumer goods portfolio * Strategic and critical thinking skills * Exceptional stakeholder management skills * High numeracy * Relentless curiosity with a passion for understanding how people live and a desire to create products that make homes smarter and easier * Strong command of Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace (e.g., Sheets, Slides), coupled with the ability to effectively integrate AI tools into daily product management tasks This is a fantastic, newly created contract that will be at the heart of NPD within my client’s business.
