Role: DevOps Engineer
Position : 6 months + Possible extension
Work Location: Belfast, UK
Required Experience
* Principal-level hands-on engineer delivering distributed, cloud-native systems
* Deep expertise in Kubernetes, especially stateful applications
* Strong hands-on experience with AWS (EKS, EBS, IAM, VPC)
* Solid background in Go or Java services and service modernisation
* Experience with Kafka or similar distributed/streaming platforms
* Solid background with Helm, Operators, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
* Strong understanding of failure modes, scaling, and data durability
Nice to Have
* Experience adapting legacy or non-cloud-native Java apps to Kubernetes
* Multi-region or globally distributed system design
* Experience with service mesh and advanced networking patterns
