Offer description

We are offering two different training programmes that will support those that have the LPC (Period of Recognised Training) and SQE 1 (Qualifying Work Experience). Both routes, Period of Recognised Training and Qualifying Work Experience, will consist of four, six‑month training seats. From the beginning of your training you will be given hands‑on client work. As you become embedded into the team, your responsibilities will grow and you will have opportunities to work on more complex cases. Prospective trainees who wish to start a Period of Recognised Training (PRT) must have completed a law degree or the GDL/PGDL and the LPC before starting the training contract. For those who wish to start Qualifying Work Experience (QWE) you must have completed a law degree or the GDL/PGDL and the SQE 1 before starting the training contract. Whichever route you choose, the firm will support you to qualification by providing the Professional Skills Course (PRT) or the SQE 2 (QWE) prep course.

This is a great opportunity for a legal graduate to progress their career and join a collaborative and professional firm. Whilst the role will require you to work at a fast pace with a customer focus and high standards, it also provides a sustainable work‑life balance and is based in the regional area where you belong.
