The Role As a SEND Teacher, you will: p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0"> Plan and deliver lessons that are adapted to individual pupil needs. p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0"> Support children and young people with ASD, SEMH, PMLD, and complex needs. p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0"> Create a calm, safe, and engaging learning environment. p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0"> Work closely with TAs, SENCOs, therapists, and wider school staff. p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0"> Use flexible teaching strategies to support different learning styles and communication needs. p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0"> Celebrate small steps of progress and help pupils build confidence and independence. About You You will be a strong fit if you: p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0"> Hold QTS or have strong experience working in SEND settings. p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0"> Are calm, patient, and adaptable. p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0"> Build trust and positive relationships with pupils easily. p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0"> Understand that behaviour is often communication. p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0"> Are committed to supporting pupils in specialist, inclusive, or alternative provision settings.
