Our client, a leading and expanding manufacturing organisation established for over 30 years in Tamworth, is seeking a driven, analytical, and detail-focused Commercial Analyst to join their growing Commercial Department. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, you'll be diving into product performance analysis, shaping pricing strategies, and delivering key market insights.
Your salary will be between £30,000 to £35,000 depending on experience.

Hours of work: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday – please note this is an office-based position.
Working as the Commercial Analyst, you will:
Collaborate with the sales team to gather and analyse market data for new product launches and performance reviews
Maintain effective systems for storing, analysing, and reporting market and product performance data
Track and report product performance against targets, sharing insights across relevant departments
Monitor stock levels, identify slow-moving or obsolete items, and recommend corrective actions to minimise risk
Manage customer pricing data within internal systems, including updates for promotions and pricing changes
Review stock levels against forecasts, generating reports to support planning and decision-making
Assess commercial viability of new products, focusing on pricing, margins, and forecast alignment As the Commercial Analyst, you will have:
Previous experience working within a similar position
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to spot trends, anomalies, or patterns in large datasets
A consistent, reliable approach to your work, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership
A positive and collaborative attitude, with the flexibility to adapt in a fast-moving environment
Strong self-management skills, with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines independently
Effective communication skills – confident in presenting findings and engaging with different departments and stakeholders
A data-driven mindset with a passion for delivering insights that add real value to business performance
