The Opportunity
A leading engineering and manufacturing business is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to support ongoing maintenance, repair, and optimisation of plant machinery. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity within a well-established organisation offering long-term stability and development.

Your duties and responsibilities will be
Deliver both planned and reactive maintenance across a variety of mechanical equipment.
Investigate faults, carry out effective repairs, and help reduce machinery downtime.
Perform routine checks, servicing, and inspections to maintain safe and efficient plant operation.
Support production teams by ensuring equipment is running reliably and assist with continuous improvement activities.
Install, refurbish, or overhaul mechanical assemblies such as motors, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, and associated components.You will have the following qualifications and experience
Background in a manufacturing, industrial, or production setting with proven hands-on mechanical experience.
Strong ability to diagnose mechanical issues and interpret technical drawings or schematics.
Practical knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
A recognised mechanical engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent).
Confident working safely within site procedures, including risk assessments, permits to work, and lock-out/tag-out processes.Get in touch now
