We are currently working with a welcoming and creative secondary school in Ealing who are seeking a practical and organised Art Technician to support their Art & Design department.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for the arts who enjoys working in a school environment and supporting both staff and students.
The Role
As an Art Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the Art department by:
Preparing materials, equipment, and resources for lessons
Supporting teachers during practical sessions when required
Maintaining and organising art supplies, stock levels, and storage areas
Assisting with displays of student artwork around the school
Ensuring health & safety procedures are followed within the department
Supporting students with the safe use of tools and materials
The Ideal Candidate
Has experience working in an Art department or similar creative environment (school-based preferred)
Is organised, reliable, and proactive
Has a good understanding of art materials, processes, and health & safety
Enjoys working with young people and supporting creative learning
Holds (or is willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS
