Experience PPA Teacher required for the summer term in Liverpool
Hays Education are currently working in partnership with a primary school in Liverpool to recruit a PPA teacher for 5 days a week starting June 2025. You will be covering PPA and subject leader time across Years 1 - Year 6.The school is welcoming applications from experienced teachers and ECTS.The role is initially for the summer term but could be extended for the autumn term 2025/26 academic year.
In the role of a PPA Cover Teacher, you will be responsible for covering when the class teacher takes time away to plan and prepare future lessons. You will be expected to deliver the lessons left by the class teacher and ensure pupils are still fully engaged in the work and reaching their potential. It is key to have good communication roles and being able to build relationships quickly with both staff and pupils. This is a great role for an NQT/ECT to gain experience in various classrooms or for someone looking for a part-time teaching role.

* Qualified Teacher Status
* Be comfortable and flexible in teaching all year groups.
* Adapt to last-minute changes with ease.
* Be confident in implementing a range of behaviour management strategies.
* Enjoy collaborating with a diverse group of children, Learning Support Assistants (LSAs), and other staff members.
