Planning Solicitor (NQ - 5 PQE)
Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Planning Solicitor to join a highly regarded specialist team handling complex and high-value planning and development matters. This role offers exposure to quality work for developers, landowners, businesses, and public sector clients within a supportive and collaborative environment.
The Role
You will advise on a broad range of planning matters, including:
* Planning applications, appeals, and objections
* Section 106 and highways agreements
* Judicial Review and High Court challenges
* Enforcement and lawlessness matters
* Compulsory Purchase Orders and public rights of way
* Biodiversity Net Gain and CIL matters
You will work closely with experienced senior lawyers while also managing your own caseload and building strong client relationships.
About You
* Newly Qualified Solicitor up to 5 years' PQE
* Experience in planning law across contentious and non-contentious matters
* Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
* Commercially aware with a proactive approach
* Able to manage multiple matters effectively and work to deadlines
* Interest in developing within a specialist planning practice
