Job Description
We're seeking a talented person to join our ABS Training and Development team. As an Audit Manager - Technical Training and Development, you will play a key role in training staff to manage the firm's regulatory and reputational risks in an increasingly challenging environment.
Our national team, comprising staff and volunteers, works closely with audit teams to provide continuous, relevant practical training. We are part of the Assurance Technical and Training (ATAT) and collaborate with Learning and Development to deliver a cohesive service.
Responsibilities include:
* Liaising with stakeholders, including the Training and Development Lead, to ensure relevant training updates and feedback collection
* Organising, developing, reviewing, and delivering training within set timelines
* Preparing proposals for training development, attending internal meetings, and building a network of contacts
* Managing or co-managing a portfolio of audit clients to maintain current knowledge of practices and issues
Qualifications
To succeed, you should have:
* Qualified by experience (ACA, CA, ACCA) with significant external audit experience in a professional services environment
* Knowledge of accounting and auditing standards and their application
* Understanding of skill requirements across staff levels to ensure appropriate task allocation
* Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement
