We are a private equity-backed consumer healthcare business with revenues of c.£25m and ambitious growth plans. The business is focused on scaling sustainably and a key priority is improving commercial decision-making and strengthening financial insight across the organisation.

We are now seeking a Commercial FP&A Manager to provide high-quality insight into performance and help leaders truly understand the drivers of results and the ‘why’ behind the numbers.

The Role

Reporting to the CFO, this is a highly commercial, outward-facing role working closely with operational and senior leaders. You will act as a trusted advisor, translating financial data into clear, actionable insight that supports better decisions and drives profitable growth.

The role is office-based in the heart of London’s medical quarter, within easy walking distance of numerous overground and underground stations

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Finance & Business Partnering

* Act as a trusted finance business partner to operational and commercial leaders, supporting both strategic and day-to-day decision-making
* Develop a deep understanding of the business model, operational processes and key revenue, margin and cost drivers
* Provide commercial insight to support pricing, margin improvement, service profitability and operational efficiency initiatives
* Challenge assumptions constructively and influence stakeholders with data-led insight

Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning

* Lead and coordinate the annual budget process, working with budget holders to ensure robust, realistic and aligned plans
* Own and deliver rolling forecasts and longer-term financial plans in line with business strategy
* Support forward-looking planning across revenue, costs, capacity and cash flow

Financial Analysis & Insight

* Produce and deliver regular performance reporting, including KPI dashboards and management/Board packs
* Identify trends, risks and opportunities, and recommend actions to improve performance
* Deliver high-quality ad-hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives, operational changes and investment decisions

Financial Modelling & Decision Support

* Lead the financial evaluation of new services, expansion opportunities and commercial initiatives, including ROI and payback analysis
* Work closely with operational teams to ensure models reflect real operational drivers and constraints

Core attributes

* Fully qualified accountant (CIMA preferred; ACA / ACCA also considered)
* Proven experience in a commercial FP&A or finance business partnering role
* Strong financial modelling capability and confidence working with complex data (SQL knowledge a bonus)
* Excellent commercial awareness with a clear understanding of how businesses make money
* Able to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders

Desirable attributes

* Experience in a fast-paced, PE-backed environment
* Experience in the consumer healthcare sector
* Experience of marketing metrics (cost of customer acquisition/lifetime value etc)
