Are you a compassionate and confident leader in elderly care looking for your next step? We’re excited to be working with a growing organisation who are seeking a Deputy Manager to support the day-to-day running of a warm and welcoming 40-bed residential care home in Manchester. This home provides high-quality care for elderly residents in a non-nursing setting, focusing on dignity, independence, and a true sense of community.
What you'll be doing:
1. Supporting the Home Manager in all aspects of care delivery and team leadership
2. Ensuring the highest standards of person-centred care and compliance
3. Supervising and mentoring staff, including rota management and training
4. Building positive relationships with residents, families, and professionals
5. Driving continuous improvement across the home
What we're looking for:
* A strong background in residential elderly care
* Previous experience in a senior care or deputy role
* NVQ Level 3 or above in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
* A natural leader with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Passionate about delivering exceptional care with empathy and respect
