KM Recruitment is a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Skills and Employability Sectors.Job Title: Media and Graphics Tutor Location: York - Centre basedSalary: £30,000 - £35,000 (Depending on qualifications and experience)Type: Full Time, PermanentEssential Criteria:
* Hold - or be willing to work towards - a Level 3 teaching qualification (PTLLS/AET or equivalent/above)
* Must hold a recognised Level 3 qualification in Media, Graphic Design or similar.
* Must have experience of utilising industry-standard Media and Graphic Design software.
Duties include:
* Deliver high-quality and engaging lessons in Media Production and Graphic Design, to learners working towards their NCFE Level 1 and 2 qualifications.
* Embedding of Literacy and Employability skills in to lessons.
* Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners' skills knowledge and behaviours
* Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
* Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression.
* Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.
Personal Skills:
* Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively
* Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people
* Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners
