HR Manager / HR Business Partner We are seeking an HR Manager / HR Business Partner to join a growing organisation and play a key role in shaping the people agenda. Working closely with the Head of HR, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day HR operations, supporting employee engagement, and contributing to overall organisational performance. You will also lead and develop a small HR team making this a fantastic opportunity for someone with proven leadership skills or an ambitious HR professional looking to step up into their next role. Key Responsibilities Partner with the Head of HR to deliver the people strategy. Manage, coach, and develop a small HR team. Oversee HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, learning & development, and payroll coordination. Provide clear guidance to managers on HR policies, processes, and employment law. Drive employee engagement initiatives and support a positive workplace culture. Ensure compliance with HR policies and UK employment legislation. Support workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning. Contribute to HR projects and process improvements. About You We are looking for a confident HR professional with the ability to manage both operational and strategic HR activity. Essential: Experience in HR management or HR business partnering. Strong knowledge of UK employment law. Ability to influence and build relationships at all levels. Experience managing or coaching team members. Organised, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Desirable: CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) not essential, support is available for those wishing to study.
