This role has a significant impact across the National Trust in providing practical and strategic advice to the wider People Team and direct to leadership in support of the People Strategy. Reporting to our People Services Director, you’ll lead a team of 5 People Relations Experts. Your contractual location will be our head office (Heelis) in Swindon and there will be an expectation for you to attend the office. However, there is flexibility on where you are based at other times. You’ll be required to work at Heelis for 40-60% of your working week. This will be discussed in more detail at interview. In this highly autonomous role you’ll develop our people policies and advise on legislative matters organisation wide at a senior level, this can involve advising on confidential and sensitive matters. You’ll be a problem solver with a focus on delivery and can explain complex terms and issues simply and succinctly both internally and externally. You’ll work with external suppliers for our key services including Occupational Health and ensure all services and delivered effectively and to agreed quality standards.
