International Centre for Neuromorphic Systems Centre Manager
This is an exceptional opportunity to join The University of Manchester’s proposed new International Centre for Neuromorphic Systems (ICNS) under the leadership of Professor André van Schaik. The University is investing heavily for the future, with focus on areas of national importance such as health, security, smart cities, robotics, and data-intensive sciences such as physics, astronomy and biology. The Department of Computer Science is investing for growth in Computer Engineering and Architecture, as the enabling activity for these areas, and more. As the Centre Manager, you will contribute to the strategic management of our international portfolio of research.
You will join the proposed International Centre for Neuromorphic Systems - though be part of the wider pan-university community. There are activities across the University that are potential collaborators for work in ICNS, including Machine Learning (in the Department of Computer Science), Cognitive Robotics (in Computer Science and Electrical and Electronic Engineering) and Space Systems Engineering (in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering).
