About the Role
Kingspan is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager to lead specificationled technical sales across the Water Business Unit in Great Britain. This is a senior, autonomous role with full responsibility for driving sales performance, margin, and specification growth across Pumps, CTP, and Separator product ranges.
Working as part of a national technical sales team, you will engage closely with consulting engineers, architects, water authorities, contractors, and merchant partners, positioning Kingspan as a market leader in wastewater and surface water solutions.
This is a hybrid role, predominantly homebased, requiring regular travel across GB and occasional overnight stays.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver sales targets and budget performance across Pumps, CTP and Separator ranges
* Develop and execute a Specification & Demand Creation Plan, including CPD delivery
* Proactively target and influence consulting engineers, architects and key specifiers
* Build strong relationships with water authorities, national contractors, housebuilders, and industry bodies
* Lead key national and regional merchant accounts, supporting trade sales teams
* Support highlevel site visits and specification development with Area Sales Managers
* Drive a marginfocused sales culture across all sales channels
* Identify opportunities to increase specification conversion, including telemetry and valueadded solutions
* Ensure effective use of CRM systems to manage pipeline, projects, and reporting
* Maintain uptodate knowledge of wastewater and surface water standards and regulations (e.g. CIRIA C753, BW Flows & Loads)
* Prepare performance reports and contribute to strategic planning and decision making
* Promote a strong culture of health & safety, quality, compliance, and best practice
Essential Requirements
* Proven experience in a technical, specificationled sales role
* Background within the water, wastewater, civils, or related infrastructure sector
* Strong technical understanding of wastewater and surface water solutions
* Excellent presentation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to operate at a senior level, working autonomously and strategically
* Full UK driving licence
* Willingness to travel nationally, including occasional overnight stays
Desirable
* Professional or management sales training
* Knowledge of SuDS (Sustainable Drainage Systems)
* Degreelevel education (engineering, construction, or related discipline)
