Job Description
We are seeking an experienced MarTech Manager to own, optimize, and scale our marketing technology ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of analytics, marketing, and engineering, ensuring digital marketing tracking is accurate, scalable, and implemented efficiently. As a MarTech Tagging Specialist you will be responsible for managing our Google Tag Manager (GTM) setup, maintaining tracking across web and mobile properties, and supporting front‑end development for landing pages and campaign requirements.
This role is related to the PlayOJO brand – an award‑winning online casino and bingo brand operating in key markets including the UK, Canada, Spain, Brazil, Peru and Mexico, and continuously expanding our global presence.
Responsibilities
* Manage and maintain Google Tag Manager (GTM), Google Analytics, and CMP across all brands and markets.
* Implement and maintain conversion tracking, event tracking, marketing pixels, and third‑party tags.
* Ensure accurate measurement and reporting across platforms including Google Ads, Floodlights, Meta, and mobile app campaigns (via AppsFlyer or SDKs).
* Maintain a structured data layer and ensure compliance with GDPR, consent requirements, and privacy regulations.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for tracking‑related issues.
* Investigate and resolve discrepancies in conversion data.
* Debug tracking across landing pages, multi‑step funnels, and cross‑domain journeys.
* Support and maintain server‑side tracking implementations (S2S, CAPI, reporting APIs, etc.).
* Perform regular audits of GTM containers, tags, triggers, and variables as well as data consistency across multiple platforms.
* Reduce reliance on external engineering teams by resolving tracking issues independently where possible.
* Build, update, and maintain marketing landing pages for channels like PPC/Paid Social, etc.
* Implement tracking requirements directly into front‑end code where needed.
* Ensure pages are responsive, performant, and technically sound.
* Proactively support campaign‑related updates.
* Collaborate with internal and external teams.
* Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications.
* Validate and QA implementations delivered by external teams.
* Establish and enforce best practices for tracking implementation.
* Maintain documentation for GTM structure, tagging frameworks, tracking setups across multiple markets.
* Support scalability and consistency across all web properties.
Qualifications
* Strong hands‑on experience with GTM and CMPs.
* Experience building and maintaining Google Analytics.
* Solid understanding of event tracking, conversion tracking and data layer structures.
* Experience debugging tracking issues in web and mobile environments.
* Front‑end development skills in HTML, CSS and JavaScript, creative/design capabilities will be considered an advantage.
* Experience working with marketing and analytics teams.
* Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
* Familiarity with cross‑domain tracking.
* Exposure to app tracking concepts (Firebase or similar).
* Experience in performance‑driven industries (gaming, betting or e‑commerce).
* Detail‑oriented, highly organised, diligent, and motivated.
* Self‑driven and eager to learn.
* Able to build strong relationships with cross‑functional teams while advocating for best practices and data‑driven decisions.
