Security Architect

Our client is strengthening its global Cyber Security Defense function and is searching for a Security Architect to play a pivotal role in protecting millions of users worldwide.
This isn't about retrofitting controls or ticking compliance boxes. It's about shaping secure systems from the ground up - embedding resilience, trust, and innovation into every stage of delivery across a large-scale, complex environment.
With a remit that spans architecture, design, consultation, and governance, this role places you at the intersection of technology and business strategy. You'll influence decision-making, set standards, and ensure that security is not an obstacle but an enabler.
The Impact You'll Have
* Shape secure design - review systems, applications, and infrastructure, making sure protection is baked in from day one.
* Collaborate at scale - partner with developers, administrators, architects, and leaders to deliver secure, business-ready solutions.
* Establish standards - define technical guidelines and policies that embed best practice across global teams.
* Promote awareness - help drive training and awareness that strengthens the organisation's security culture.
* Consult & advise - provide trusted guidance to stakeholders, aligning security solutions with real-world challenges.
* Innovate & influence - bring forward fresh approaches to meet modern threats, cloud adoption, and evolving development practices.
What You'll Bring
* 5+ years' experience in information security, with strong knowledge of network and application security.
* Familiarity with security frameworks, threat modelling, and secure development practices.
* Technical expertise in protocols, authentication methods, and web/mobile application security.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to bridge the gap between technical and business teams.
* A collaborative mindset, thriving in cross-functional and multicultural environments.
What Will Set You Apart
* Advanced certifications (CISSP, CISA, or similar).
* Consulting experience - guiding stakeholders on secure design and implementation.
* Hands-on background in application development, penetration testing, or vulnerability assessment.
* Knowledge of cloud platforms, containerisation, and DevSecOps practices.
* Exposure to SIEM, incident response, or security operations.
