The successful candidate will have between one and three years’ experience, and be joining a well-established structural engineering team working closely with architects, building services engineers and urban designers within a genuinely integrated design studio. You will contribute to the design and delivery of projects across sectors including commercial, residential, education, culture and mixed-use developments. From early concept design through to detailed delivery, you will have exposure to all RIBA stages, working on architecturally ambitious schemes where structural engineering is central to the overall design vision. This is a fantastic platform for someone eager to take ownership of packages, attend design meetings, and play a meaningful role in shaping high-profile London projects.
My client is seeking a motivated Structural Engineer who is confident working within a UK consultancy environment and keen to develop both technically and professionally. You should be comfortable producing design calculations, drawings and reports, and enjoy collaborating within a multidisciplinary setting. What You Need To Succeed
* 1-3 years’ experience in a UK structural engineering consultancy.
* Experience working on building structures in concrete, steel, timber and/or masonry.
* Ability to produce structural calculations and technical reports with supervision.
* Familiarity with industry software such as Tekla Structural Designer, Tedds, Robot, MasterSeries or similar.
* Understanding of UK Building Regulations and Eurocodes.
* Strong communication skills and confidence contributing to design meetings.
* A proactive attitude and willingness to learn within a collaborative team environment.
* Ambitious to pursue Chartership with either the IStructE or ICE.
* A strong academic background with a BEng or MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering
