Responsibilities
* Oversee & assist with all daily/weekly processing of invoices and statements, ensuring Company systems are up to date.
* Generate & process multi-currency weekly payment run, ensuring suppliers are paid on time.
* Generate Royalty Statements.
* Review system reports including trade creditors and GRNI, ensuring aged transactions are identified and actioned.
* Oversee & assist with all daily/weekly processing of invoices and statements, ensuring Company systems are up to date.
* Review of system reports including trade debtors and accrued income, ensuring aged transactions are identified and actioned.
* Working with Customer Services to resolving customer queries.
* Review of weekly system multi-currency bank reconciliation.
* Review of system stock records - complete transactions capture / review out-dated stock / review scrap levels with QA / monthly stock reconciliations.
* Multi-currency cash flow forecasting and planning including administration of forward currency contracts.
* Complete monthly payroll processing and reports.
* Finance point of contact for ERP system responsible for assisting dept. / Subsidiaries businesses / system testing and upgrades. ERP system responsibilities to also include data exports, review and insight into data trends.
* Manage Delegation of Authority policy, reporting any breaches / issues.
* Month end processing to departmental timetable.
* Month end accounts preparation to include
* Preparing and analysing Company P&L and Balance Sheet.
* Group accounts consolidation
* Intercompany reconciliations
* Completion of final reports for review
* Assist Finance Manager with budget process provision of other adhoc financial data analysis and other strategic planning as required.
* National Statistic Surveys.
* Review and update departmental process documentation.
* It is an essential part of the role that the Senior Accounts Assistant can provide support on all daily finance activities to other members of the Finance team. Assist the Finance Manager with any adhoc requests and provide cover when required.
Requirements

* Analytical and logic problem solving skills
* Good communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
* Qualified Accounting Technician or studying / intending to study for CIMA. Consideration will also be given to candidates who are qualified by experience.
* Previous experience in a Finance Department within a manufacturing environment
* Previous experience with Epicor ERP system or similar systems.
