Controls Engineer – Machinery / Automation / PLCsLocation: Leeds, West YorkshirePay: £40,000 - £50,000 (DOE)25 Days Holiday, plus Bank Holidays1pm Finish on FridaysAre you an experienced Controls Engineer who enjoys designing control systems, writing PLC/HMI code, and seeing your solutions power real machinery?SimWest is working with a well-established British manufacturer of bespoke industrial equipment — a business with a strong engineering legacy and a track record for quality, innovation, and reliability. After a year of record-breaking sales, they're now expanding their control systems team to support continued growth.What You'll Be Doing:This is a varied, full-lifecycle role - ideal for a Controls Engineer who can take ownership of control systems projects from start to finish. You’ll be responsible for: * Designing and specifying electrical control circuits for complex machinery * Writing and developing control software for PLC and HMI systems * Providing commissioning support both remotely and on customer sites — approx.
