Overview
Servomex is seeking an Electronics Engineer to maintain, enhance and develop the electrical and electronic elements of our world‑class product portfolio.
Responsibilities
* Design, simulate and implement analogue and digital circuitry.
* Provide accurate, achievable estimates for work packages.
* Create schematics and PCB layouts using Altium.
* Perform calculations, component selection and technical reviews.
* Test, validate and debug electronic assemblies.
* Capture and present performance data.
* Design for EMC, safety, reliability and manufacturability.
* Carry out EMC testing.
* Collaborate with mechanical, software and systems teams.
* Support prototype builds and PCB bring‑up.
* Follow QMS processes and maintain a safe, organised lab.
Qualifications
* A collaborative and adaptable team player who takes ownership of their work.
* Experience designing mixed‑signal electronics (ideally instrumentation).
* Knowledge of standards compliance and reliability methods.
* Experience with environmental/functional testing of electro‑mechanical systems.
* Proficiency in circuit and PCB layout tools, specifically Altium.
* Understanding and following change‑control steps.
* Familiarity with microprocessor design (STM32 / i.MX).
* Nice to have: Experience with IEC 61010 / 60079 safety standards, Functional Safety (IEC 61508), Embedded C++.
* Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or related field.
* Relevant hands‑on electronic engineering experience in industry.

Location and Work Arrangements
Location: Crowborough, East Sussex. Hybrid: initial six months onsite five days a week, then minimum three days onsite per week.
Salary
£45,000 to £54,000 per annum.
