Job Title: Project Manager

Summary of role
Responsible for the safe execution of a portfolio of concurrent projects for various sites. Aspart of the role the Project Managermust ensure that the projects are delivered to meet JLL& clients standards in regard to health, safety, quality, cost and programme, whilst complyingas a Principal Contractor with current CDM legislation. This includes compliance with MS18and CSO6 standards. PM must be qualified in a related trade, mechanical, electrical, civil engineering, building fabric, roofing etc.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the execution of projects with potential values between £20k to£5m.
Provide Health and safety leadership to your site delivery teams and promotebehavioural safety improvements.
Support the project risk management process and ensure effective controls areestablished to ensure the safe and timely delivery of the projects.
Manage the projects in accordance with the requirements of the NEC3 FrameworkContract.
Support project opportunities where identified, to realise, maintain and improve thecommercial project performance.
Play an active lead in the production and risk management of quotations andestimates.
Promote and maintain effective client/stakeholder relationships to protect andenhance the company's reputation at project level.
To ensure our suppliers, sub-contractors and direct workforce follow companypolicies and procedures including Health & Safety, Quality Assurance andEngineering standards.
Work closely with the Senior Design Manager to ensure robust, workable economicand constructable designs are produced.
Liaise with the client Project Managers and their appointed consultant ProjectManagers to ensure that the projects are managed in compliance with MS18, CS06and the current delivery programme and cost plan.
Ensure projects are delivered to the agreed contract programme.
To ensure works are carried out to high standard complying with relevant BritishStandards, codes of practice and client Standards.
Ensure projects are completed snag and defect free.
Ensure that post completion deliverables such as final accounts and Operation &Maintenance information is delivered within the contracted timescales.
Ensure that preject related CVR information is kept up to date across all projects.
What we'll need from you
Extensive and proven experience in the role of a Project Manager or above
Practical experience within the building/construction/building services industries
Experience of the management of Health and Safety across multiple sites
Experience of working in occupied buildings/campuses
Understanding of programming techniques and ability to write programmes.
Experience of the use of Asta / Microsoft Projects / Primavera programmingsoftware &Fieldview or similar tablet-based quality assurancesoftware.
Experience in the preparation of quotations and estimates.
Already possess or be able to obtain the required levels of security clearance foraccess to the designated client locations involved in the role.
Good understanding of NEC3 Option C Contracts/Other Frameworks and supportingProject Teams in its implementation.
SSSTS / SMSTS,City & Guilds /NVQ construction related qualifications,JIB / BESA,CSCS Card,First Aid
