Ysgol Treganna is a Welsh-medium primary school. Our vision is rooted in the ethos of the ‘small school in the big city’, where our journey began back in 1987. We have since grown into a school of around 700 pupils, organised into three communities led by our Assistant Headteachers. The school has 22 classes, structured to provide the best possible learning experience for every child. Our learning communities ensure a strong sense of belonging, care, and a consistent family atmosphere, with pupil wellbeing and success at the heart of everything we do at Treganna.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Business Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full range of the school’s financial and administrative operations, including preparing and monitoring the budget, advising the Headteacher and Governing Body on financial matters, managing school financial systems, and ensuring compliance with the Council’s Financial Regulations.
The post holder will also oversee the administrative team, manage payroll and staff records, coordinate the hiring of school facilities, handle creditor and supplier matters, and support the management of the school site. The role requires the delivery of an efficient, accurate, and high-quality service that directly contributes to the smooth running of the school.
This role is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check.
This vacancy is suitable for post share.
For further information or an informal conversation, please contact the Headteacher, Mrs Catrin Evans.
