The role:
* Identify, build, and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor business performance.
* Provide commercial insights and analysis.
* Deliver insightful and targeted operational and financial analysis.
* Dive deeply into operational and financial data to become a subject matter expert and provide added insight.
* Support company-wide projects and strategic initiatives with financial input.
* Analyse data to identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction.
* Make recommendations to enhance operational and financial performance.
* Drive process optimisation through automation and continuous improvement to improve accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness.
* Present insights into key financial drivers in monthly reporting decks for SLT.
* Regularly update and refine financial models to reflect changes in business activity and performance.
* Manage system upgrades and maintain impeccable data accuracy.
* Oversee month-end processes and collaborate with teams to ensure timely and high-quality outputs.
Requirements:
* Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent).
* Experience in financial planning & analysis, commercial finance or business partnering.
* Advanced Excel.
* Able to translate data into actionable insights.
* Strong presentation skills and comfort in dealing with senior management.
* Exceptional analytical and numerical skills with a flair for detailed reporting.
