Solicitor - Projects - Newly Qualified - Bristol
Location: Bristol • Type of Role: Permanent, Full time • Salary: £60,000 to £75,000 (depending on experience)
A leading national law firm is seeking a Newly Qualified Projects Solicitor (qualifying September 2026) to join its highly regarded, market leading Projects team. This is an exceptional opportunity to work on innovative, high value and nationally significant projects across a diverse range of sectors, gaining exposure to complex commercial, regulatory and procurement work from day one.
The Role
You will work alongside specialists recognised as leaders in their fields, supporting major clients across sectors including:
* Renewable energy
* Defence
* Sustainable transport and infrastructure
* Public sector procurement
Your work will typically include:
* Commercial and regulatory advice
* Public procurement and subsidy control
* Due diligence on major transactions
* Supporting the delivery of complex infrastructure and energy projects
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys intellectually challenging work, problem solving and operating within fast moving, highly regulated environments.
Candidate Requirements
* Will qualify as a Solicitor in England & Wales by September 2026
* Has completed seats in Projects, Commercial, Banking & Finance, Corporate (M&A) or Construction (desirable but not essential)
* Can demonstrate a genuine interest in the firm's core sectors
* Has strong analytical, drafting and research skills
* Communicates clearly and confidently with clients and colleagues
* Enjoys working collaboratively within a high performing team
* Brings enthusiasm, curiosity and a proactive approach to learning
