As student numbers continue to rise, this is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital role in delivering high-quality learning across key subject areas by supporting teaching staff and stepping into the classroom to ensure continuity and student engagement.
We have an exciting opportunity at our Openshaw Campus to join our Sport, Public Services and Care Professions Department as a Cover Supervisor on a permanent, full-time (35 hours per week) basis.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will need:
7. L2 Qualifications in English and Maths (grade C/4 or above).
8. L3 Teaching assistant qualification and/or L3 Certificate in Cover Supervision of Students.
9. Experience of working with young people is important, and candidates with a background in Health and Social Care or youth work would be particularly well suited to the role.
10. Must be passionate about teaching and learning. This role is for a Cover Supervisor, and as such the timetable may change regularly to meet curriculum needs, so the successful candidate must be adaptable and flexible in their approach.
