Salary: Grade 8, £36,363 - £40,777 per annum.
Hours: 37 per week.
Contract: Temporary for 2 years from start date.
Your role
Join our Digital Transformation Team to improve council services through technology. This business‑analysis focused role involves working with services to understand current processes ("as is"), define future ways of working ("to be"), and translate needs into clear, structured requirements. You will facilitate workshops, model processes, support system design and procurement, manage user testing, and track benefits realisation.
About you
We are looking for a practising business analyst with strong experience in digital transformation, business and systems analysis, and project delivery. You should be skilled in documenting "as is" and "to be" processes, translating analysis into clear, actionable requirements and designs, and comfortable working in agile environments while applying service‑design principles. A confident communicator, you excel at stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation, and structured documentation. You are collaborative, analytical, quality‑driven, and bring energy, initiative, and a strong commitment to inclusive, customer‑focused public services.
Interview dates
Priority candidates: Week commencing 27th April 2026.
All other candidates: Week commencing 4th May 2026.
