Job Description
•Define, and ensure deployment and efficiency of Quality strategy for the product line/Region, aligned with Transit Quality Strategy.
•Define, monitor and control the Quality in product line/operation activities (Customer interface, Engineering, Project Management) through the adequate KPI’s to achieve Customer targets.
•Develop, train & coach their hierarchical or dotted line team members to support Customer excellence and Quality prevention actions & performance
•Manage the Customer Quality Interface and ensure that the performance targets defined & committed are achieved
•Support the Sites to meet their Quality targets, for purpose of product line/Region efficiency and customer satisfaction
•Manage the product line/Region Quality network (PQE and Product Quality Engineering)
•Ensure QMS consistency and compliance with Site and Transit / Region QMS
•Support Quality BPO for process & tools definition and deployment
•Has the authority to STOP and release the execution of any Process/ Product/ Project (APQP) within the Product Line/Region, and corresponding Operating Units.
•Ensure that Quality targets of the product line/Region are in line with Transit Quality targets and Product Line/Operation Objective
•Deploy Quality Culture within the product line/Region : onboard Engineering and Project manager to meet Quality targets and develop Product knowledge management of Quality team
•In consistency with Product Line/Operation strategy, develop Quality Continuous Improvement Plan and corresponding actions to achieve the quality objectives.
•Represent Customer within the product line/Region on Quality matters (Communication / Escalation), ensure that quality meetings with customers are prepared professionally, with reliable data
•Ensure customer that management of Safety cases & Hot issues is completed until LLC implementation secured. Escalation is done from OU/PL to Regions and/or Transit level in due time
•Ensure alignment with Site Quality Manager on customers quality data follow-up, WT PL and Project performance
•Ensure that product line/Region Quality budget is aligned with strategy and communicate it to all relevant parties

Manage the PQE, Product Quality and functionally with Regional Quality network
The Product Line Quality director support Region Quality director in specific Quality issues/missions with sites or customers
Deploy governance to secure Project Quality deliverables on quality and on-time
Consolidate Quality performance for the product line and ensure the cascading to the site involved through Project performance
