About The Team We Are Recruiting To
The Project Delivery Team is responsible for the development and delivery of a range of high value, high profile strategic capital build projects across the City. There is currently a focus on the delivery of new and refurbished educational establishments to ensure the sufficiency of school places. We build relationships and work collaboratively with our clients and stakeholders to ensure that we deliver quality capital projects to meet the needs of the citizens of Coventry within defined budgets and programmes.

What is the job role?
* You will lead client facing high‑profile capital projects that improve lives and reflect the values of inclusivity, sustainability, and excellence.
* You will work on a range of projects, with a focus on JCT contracts, and take the project lead from the feasibility stage through to construction completion including client support and contract administration.
* You will appoint and manage the consultant delivery team and be responsible for managing project programme, budget, risk and quality across multidisciplinary teams.
* You will take a leading role in growing and promoting the project management function, including contributing to business strategy, team development and achieving income targets.
* You will manage projects ranging from £750k – £10m+ and deliver for multiple clients.
All candidates must have the Right to Work in the UK. We are currently not offering sponsorship for this role.
This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
