Job Description
We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join our friendly and supportive team from September. The successful candidate will have a proven track record (or strong potential) of delivering engaging lessons that inspire children to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality teaching and learning in line with the National Curriculum.
* Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that supports pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.
* Assess, monitor, and report on the progress and attainment of pupils.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents/carers to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
* Participate in school events, meetings, and ongoing professional development.
* Promote the school’s ethos, values, and high expectations of behaviour and learning.
Person Specification
Essential:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
* Experience teaching in a primary school setting (KS1 or KS2).
* Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment practices.
* Excellent classroom management and behaviour strategies.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
* Ability to inspire and motivate learners of all abilities.
Desirable:
* Experience with SEND and differentiation strategies.
* Familiarity with phonics programs such as Read Write Inc. or Letters and Sounds.
* A willingness to lead a subject area or contribute to extra-curricular activities.
