Castle Hill Inn is looking for a Pastry Chef De Partie to join the team.
Nestled on 40 acres overlooking the southwestern corner of Narragansett Bay, Castle Hill Inn – a Relais & Chateaux hotel – is a coastal haven where guests come to relax and rejuvenate against a spectacular New England backdrop, a location that is second to none. About the Position: In the Pastry Chef de Partie role, you are responsible for daily coordination of all baking and pastry production, ordering and organization.
About You: You are passionate about food. You have a strong sense of urgency, great organizational skills, and a positive attitude.
Essential Duties
* Produce menu items in a thorough and complete manner
* Coordinate ordering and inventory of pastry, dairy and specialty items
* Daily communication with Pastry Chef regarding production, ordering and forecasting

Qualifications
Qualifications
* Must have flexible schedule to work during days, nights, weekends, and some holidays as needed
* Minimum of 3 years of baking/pastry experience
* Associates degree in baking and pastry preferred, but we will hire candidates with exceptional experience
Skills & Abilities:
* Must be able to stand for long periods of time
* Ability to lift and move 25-50 pounds
* Be collaborative, using a team approach to creating an equitable workplace environment and have respectful working relationships
