Role: Senior Development Engineer – Shrewsbury (Hybrid)

Overview: We are seeking a Senior Development Engineer to support military powertrain verification and validation. This role involves working on new product introduction (NPI) and current products, offering a unique opportunity in defense engineering.
Why This Role? This position ensures high-quality performance of military powertrain products through component validation, post-design reporting, and inline 6 product development.
Team Structure:
Work within a 12-person team, part of a 26-person Engineering unit.
Collaborate with procurement, suppliers, and customers.
Ideal Candidate:
~6+ years in engine, transmission, or driveline engineering.
~ Engineering degree (2:2 or above) or equivalent experience.
~ Strong troubleshooting and product validation/testing skills.
~ Proficient in data analysis and problem-solving, especially with Microsoft Excel.
~ Ability to present findings to stakeholders and contribute to team development.

Preferred Industry Experience:

Familiarity with engineering data analysis tools is a plus.
Working Conditions:
Hybrid policy: Minimum 3 days/week in-office.
Hours: Mon-Thurs, 08:00-16:45 | Fri, 08:00-12:30.
