To manage all clients within the assigned portfolio in accordance with corporate objectives, approved policy & appetite statements and best practice, ensuring accuracy and integrity of data and records, as well as detecting errors and fraud. Delivering effective client risk management strategies for and provide high quality service to Arbuthnot Commercial Asset Based Lending clients. Develop & maintain strong relationship with clients at board level, maximising client life and retention. Keep bad debts and client attrition to a minimum. Support the sustainable and profitable growth of Arbuthnot Commercial ABL in all pricing discussions. Understand risk drivers and monitor triggers ensuring that risk is managed within Arbuthnot Commercial ABL Credit Policy and Procedures. Visit clients according to required frequency, prepare visit reports and annual reviews with recommended actions as necessary. Review underperforming and watch clients within the portfolio and recommend action to the Portfolio Management Meetings. Present outcomes to client in robust & positive way Analysis of client financial statements and forecasts to present to the Portfolio Management Meetings. Ensure client submissions, data and practices adhere to Finance Agreements. Comply with all client reporting metrics - producing reviews/reports as appropriate to the Portfolio Management Meetings Offer appropriate support to clients on day-to-day basis and resolve queries in a timely manner. Recognise and report compliance breaches, errors and potential frauds Work with external advisors (Accountants, Auditors, Lawyers) as necessary. Present a positive image of Arbuthnot Commercial ABL at all times. Support the Commercial Team in meeting growth targets, meetings KBIs and prospects as required. Onboard new clients in line with ABL procedures. Person Specification Knowledge / Experience Proven track record in ABL/AR financing or similar environment. Good understanding of ABL/AR product range, procedures, markets and industry sectors. Strong analytical & financial analysis skills. Handle high work volumes whilst maintaining accuracy, quality and client focus. Strong risk focused approach. Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills. Computer literate.
