Overview
Finance Manager role at GXO Logistics Supply Chain Inc. in Avonmouth. This is a full-time, permanent, on-site position, predominantly Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:30, with some flexibility for a management role.
You will lead financial analysis with the operational team to ensure maximum performance on this contract, delivering best-in-class weekly flashes, period reporting, forecasting and budgeting exercises.
Responsibilities
* Ensure robustness of accounting within GXO and visibility of results to internal stakeholders.
* Be part of the change team by analysing financial impacts of projects for inclusion into business cases.
* Confirm clarity of balance sheets across each area of the contract to satisfy internal SOX requirements.
* Lead thinking on team structure and development of individuals, delivering strong succession planning and standardising processes to enable cross-operational support.
What you need to succeed
* Strong financial analysis and what-if scenario planning.
* Experience in identifying cost efficiencies and potential savings.
* Knowledge of financial management systems; experience with Oracle is advantageous.
* Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external customers.
* Ideally fully CIMA or ACCA qualified, or actively studying towards the qualification.
