Overview
As part of Outcomes First Group, Lamledge School, part of Acorn Education, invites applications for a Teaching Assistant. You will join a close-knit team at a school providing specialist education for pupils with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. This role operates within a 4-Day Working Week (4DWW) trial where you can work one day less each week (or equivalent hours) while receiving full-time pay. UK applicants only. This role does not offer sponsorship.
Location: Lamledge School, Shifnal TF11 8SD. Salary: £22,300.00 per annum (not pro rata). Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only.

4DWW note: you will work 80% of your contractual hours for 100% of your pay; 4DWW is subject to successful completion of probation and is not a contractual benefit.
Responsibilities
* Connect directly with pupils, helping them get the most from their education and supporting bespoke learning journeys.
* Prepare learning materials and run classroom activities with hands-on guidance and some supervision.
* Support pupils’ emotional and physical needs, helping them develop as individuals and engage with the world.
* Provide adaptable support in a variety of classroom roles, indoors and outdoors, as needed by individual pupils.
* Contribute to a supportive, nurturing classroom environment and work as part of a team to achieve positive outcomes.

Qualifications and Requirements
* Experience supporting pupils with special educational needs or a willingness to learn and develop in this area.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils ( DBS checks will be completed as part of recruitment).
