As a Tool Storeman, youll manage tooling, fixtures, and consumables, ensuring theyre available to internal teams and sub-contractors. This hands-on role is perfect for someone organised, proactive, and experienced in a fast-paced engineering or warehouse environment.
Key duties as a Tool Storeman include:
* Issuing and replenishing tooling and consumables
* Managing stock via daily checks and logging movements
* Preparing dispatches and receiving deliveries
* Assisting with gauge calibrations and tooling regrinds
* Maintaining a safe, organised stores area
Were looking for a Tool Storeman with:
* Previous experience in stores or tooling within manufacturing
* Strong knowledge of gauges, fixtures, and consumables
* Basic MS Word/Excel skills and good attention to detail
* A team-oriented, safety-conscious approach
