About The Role
In your role as an Activities Co-ordinator at HC-One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do.
Every person working here understands that our Residents are individuals with their own stories. Joining HC-One offers a wonderful opportunity to give back to those people.
As an Activities Co-ordinator at Herald Lodge, your responsibilities include planning and implementing engaging activities for Residents, assisting the Home Manager with fundraising events, and encouraging socialisation and hobbies among Residents. You will approach your work with kindness and a genuine care for others.
We seek someone with experience working with vulnerable individuals, ideally in developing activity programmes. Your positive energy, ability to connect with people, planning, organisational, and IT skills are essential. Communication with Residents and colleagues should be considerate and kind.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect, and know how to report concerns. Attendance at safeguarding training and the ability to seek advice and escalate concerns are required.
