We are seeking talented Advocates to join our Advocacy department, which boasts over 60 years of combined litigation experience. The team advocates for other departments on various cases and collaborates closely with fee earners to achieve successful outcomes for our clients.
What you will be doing
This role offers the opportunity to work within a well-established and growing company led by Solicitor owner-managers. As part of the Advocacy Department, you will work closely with experienced barristers in a supportive team environment, gaining and developing advocacy skills firsthand.

About the role
You will undertake a variety of tasks, including:
* Hearings such as interlocutory applications, case management hearings, and infant approval hearings.
* Drafting advices, pleadings, and skeleton arguments.
Travel across England and Wales may be required, including overnight stays.
Salary: £27,000 per annum
Hours: 8:30 am to 5:30 pm Monday-Thursday, 8:30 am to 5 pm Friday

What we are looking for
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
* Fast learner with a working knowledge of CPR

* Minimum 2.1 degree and Very Competent/Distinction in the BPC

Recruitment process
Interviews via MS Teams with the Head of Advocacy, Nyssa Crorie, and a team member. A pre-interview task will be sent 48 hours prior, including scenario-based and competency questions. We value skills and ability, encouraging applications from all backgrounds.
