People Operations Team Leader

Role Overview:
To drive service excellence within our People Operations function, ensuring that day to day operations run smoothly and efficiently.
As a teamleader, you will inspire and motivate your team to provide the best service to their colleagues and customers.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
* Leads and supports a team of Executives and Associates responsible for all aspects of People Operations across the UK and ROI.
* Supports with conducting regular 1:1’s and performance reviews.
* Provides coaching and development opportunities to team members.
* Manages the priorities and workload of the People Operations team and assigns daily tasks accordingly.
* Delivers an effective, efficient and customer focused People Operations service in line with business SLAs.
* Acts a as a key point of escalation for any queries / issues relating to People Operations.
* Oversees key processes across the employee lifecycle such as onboarding checks, contract provisioning and referencing checks ensuring they are completed in accordance with SLAs.
* Is accountable for compliance across the team, ensuring that our HRIS system and documentation is up to date and accurate.
* Responsible for completing audits and quality assurance checks, ensuring all appropriate action is taken to maintain compliance and consistency.
* Supports on a range of projects with requests for operational support such as acquisitions, divestments, restructures, pay review and contractual changes.
* Builds and maintain excellent working relationships with key stakeholders throughout the Group.
* Liaising with our People Technology team to support with any system-related issues / queries.
Skills/Knowledge Needed:
* CIPD Level 3 or working towards desirable
* Experience of working in a people administration role.
* Excellent organisation and time management skills.
* Ability to manage competing priorities and workloads effectively.
* Experience of working with HR Information systems.
* Strong communication skills.
* Presents a positive attitude with a proactive and process improvement mindset.
* Competent in the use of MS Office.
