SEMH Teacher – Teesside
Milk Education are recruiting for a purpose-driven, ambitious and qualified SEMH Teacher to join an exceptional Secondary SEMH provision in Teesside. Experienced teachers and ECTs are encouraged to apply.

SEMH Class Teacher – Roles & Responsibilities
Demonstrate a strong, up-to-date understanding of teaching, learning and behaviour management strategies, adapting them to meet individual pupil needs.
Personalise learning to provide all pupils with the opportunity to achieve their potential.
Promote positive values, attitudes and consistently high standards of professional behaviour.
Organise the classroom, resources, displays and pupil groupings to create a stimulating and supportive learning environment.
Effectively manage the learning of individuals, groups and whole classes, adapting teaching throughout lessons to meet pupils’ needs.
SEMH Teacher – Essential Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching across Key Stages 1 & 2, ideally within a SEND or SEMH setting
Strong knowledge of effective behaviour management strategies with proven success
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, when working with pupils, parents, staff and external professionals
