The Mechanical Supervisor is a key role within the Maintenance team, supporting the safe operation of assets, plant productivity, and reliability. As the Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor, you will:
* Report directly to the Maintenance Manager and oversee Mechanical Maintenance Technicians and Shift Technicians.
* Be responsible for all mechanical maintenance tasks, ensuring safety, compliance, and timely execution.
* Drive safety standards across the site, ensuring adherence to industry and site regulations, including COMAH standards.
* Work closely with operations to meet quality requirements related to ISO9001, ISO45001, ISO14001, and cGMP, including cross-contamination prevention.
* Manage all Mechanical Maintenance activities, including breakdowns, preventive maintenance, compliance work, and defect management, ensuring work orders are completed and documented in the CMMS.
* Allocate work, review and issue work packs, and ensure RAMS are adequate.
* Coordinate with the Planning & Scheduling team and Site Engineers to improve plant reliability.
* Lead the Mechanical Maintenance team in safety, quality, and efficiency, including managing timekeeping, holidays, and disciplinary matters.
* Participate in root cause analyses and continuous improvement activities to enhance equipment performance.
* Ensure all SHEQ requirements are met, promoting a positive safety culture and reporting incidents and good practices.
* Supervise external OEM contractors and support projects and changeovers as needed.
This role is crucial for maintaining safety, compliance, and operational excellence within the Maintenance team.
