We have Senior Clinical Fellow (IMT3 or equivalent) posts to cover rotation vacancies in Older Peoples Medicine. Posts are fixed term until August 2026.
Applicants should have current or recent clinical experience in a UK NHS hospital.
The successful applicants will have the opportunity to experience working in a busy teaching hospital.

Main duties of the job
The appointment is to the Trust, not to specific hospitals.
Successful candidate will join medical directorate Tier 2 rota including out of hours on call elements within specialties and General Internal Medicine.
All employees, including the appointee, will be expected to be involved in implementing the Trust's Clinical Governance programme. This includes active participation in clinical audit, quality, clinical guidelines/pathways, professional development, appraisal and risk management.

Person Specification
Experience
* Applicants who are Nationals from another European country or elsewhere overseas would have to show equivalence to the 5 years training period in the National Health Service
* Publications in Educational or Medical peer reviewed journals
* Experience of undergraduate curriculum development and design
* Capable of working in a multi-disciplinary team
* Ability to time manage and organized
* Enthusiasm for teaching.
Qualifications
* MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
* Full GMC Registration with License to practice
* Two years of IMT training or equivalent
* MRCP part 1
* Experience of working within the NHS
* Educational Qualification
* A further undergraduate or post graduate degree
* Full MRCP
Interests
* Commitment to develop a teaching and educational interest
Circumstances
* Flexible outlook on working hours
* Full Driving License
Communications
* Ability to communicate effectively with clinical colleagues and support staff
