Are you passionate about supporting children in their early years of education? GSL Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and caring Primary Teaching Assistants to work in a range of welcoming primary schools across Worksop. This is a rewarding opportunity to support the academic and emotional development of pupils in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-to-one or small group support to help pupils remain focused and achieve their learning goals.
* Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons.
* Support pupils with special educational needs (SEN), behavioural needs, or additional learning requirements.
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment.
* Promote pupil independence, confidence, and participation in all aspects of school life.
* Supervise children during breaktimes, lunchtimes, and other school activities.
Requirements:
* Experience working with primary-aged children (in schools, nurseries, tutoring, or childcare).
* A good understanding of SEN, Autism, ADHD, and behaviour management techniques is desirable.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A patient, flexible, and proactive approach to supporting learning.
* Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently.
* An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
