Our Team: Welcome to the Audi F1 Project.
Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026.
The new team has three locations: the Motorsport Competence Center of Audi in Neuburg (Germany), known for its modern facilities; the Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland), known for innovative technologies; and the Sauber Motorsport Technical Center in the UK, which will be operational this year. Our Power Unit is developed in Neuburg, while Hinwil focuses on chassis development and race operations.
We are looking for individuals with an athlete's mindset—those who see limits as challenges to overcome—to join us and make motorsport history. The position is based at Audi Formula Racing GmbH in Neuburg, Germany.
In the Energy Recovery System (ERS) division, you will work within the department management team on developing and testing key components that enhance power unit performance for racing, contributing to our competitiveness in a highly challenging environment.
This position is available starting January 1, 2026.
Your Mission
* Support the ERS department head as an interface between development departments and workshops
* Assist in planning, coordinating, and implementing ERS development projects, including monitoring
* Help in budget planning for ERS projects
* Coordinate test and deployment planning for ERS components across departments
* Support component assembly planning with responsible teams and workshops
* Participate in optimizing development processes and methods
* Analyze technical data and prepare progress reports
* Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
Your Profile
* Completed studies in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field
* Experience in motorsport or electric drive system development, with project management skills
* Development experience in electric drive systems for motorsport or similar environments
* Excellent organizational skills and team spirit
* Analytical thinking and structured work approach
* Passion for motorsport and innovative technologies, with high commitment
* Proficiency in German or English, with willingness to learn the other language
