Salary: £42,839 - £44,075 per annum
Contract: Permanent
Working Pattern: Full Time/Part Time/Flexible Hours
Hours: Up to 36 hours per week
Are you an experienced and compassionate Social Worker looking for a rewarding role in a supportive environment? Knowsley Council is seeking a dedicated individual to join their Children Looked After (CLA) team. The Role:
As a Social Worker in the CLA team, you will be responsible for the well-being and development of children and young people in the care of the local authority. Your duties will include:
* Case Management: Managing a varied caseload of children and young people, ensuring their care plans are up-to-date and meeting their needs.
* Advocacy: Acting as a corporate parent and advocating for the best interests of the children and young people you work with.
* Collaboration: Working closely with foster carers, residential staff, schools, health professionals, and other agencies to ensure a holistic and coordinated approach to care.
* Permanence Planning: Actively working towards achieving permanence for children and young people, whether through long-term fostering, adoption, or reunification with their birth families.
