We are seeking a passionate and experienced Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming primary school in Islington. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of children with additional needs in a supportive and inclusive school environment.
Responsibilities
* Work 1:1 and in small groups with children with EHCPs and additional learning needs (e.g., autism, ADHD, speech and language needs)
* Support classroom learning, adapting tasks and resources to suit individual needs
* Help create a nurturing, inclusive environment where every child feels valued
* Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and external professionals to deliver tailored support
* Support emotional regulation, communication skills, and positive behaviour strategies
Qualifications
* Experience supporting pupils with additional needs in a school or childcare setting
* Knowledge of EHCPs, SEN strategies, and inclusive classroom practice
* A caring, patient, and proactive individual with excellent communication skills
* Ability to commit to full-time hours and start immediately
