Offer description

20 hours per week Monday to Friday. Mon - Fri 7.30 to 11.30. WHAT IS INVOLVED? This permanent position will require a Disclosure and Barring Service Enhanced DBS and will be working between an open Children's home linked to the site, shared areas within the Secure Centre and cover on homes within the Secure Centre. Duties include cleaning of a children's home and shared area within the centre as part of a team of 6. Aycliffe Secure Centre is a licensed children's home caring for vulnerable young people aged 10 to 17. The Centre comprises of office space, multiple children's homes, education block and sports facility. There is the potential for additional ad hoc overtime and weekend working as and when required as well as ad hoc deep cleaning requirements at an enhanced rate following training (to be discussed at interview). Safety and security along with key management will be part of the induction process. The successful applicant will fulfil cleaning responsibilities in accordance with the relevant cleaning specification to provide a safe clean environment. IS THIS ROLE FOR YOU?
